The zoo keeper

On a dark rainy night, Chloe the Zookeeper was leaving her job at Christchurch Zoo to get home. She had to walk through the dark scary forest. Chloe had straight brown hair and was 22. She loved all friendly animals.  she doesn’t  mind naughty animals like tigers or alligators because they aren’t always naughty and mean.

Chloe was really scared because it was dark and she got  lost. She found a path that looked like the path she was supposed to take and decided to follow it. On the path she found an injured bird, it had a broken wing. Chloe picked up the bird and carried on walking. Further along the path she found a monkey. Chloe followed the monkey. The monkey would race ahead and then wait for Chloe to catch up. Chloe reached the end of the path and there was a deer sitting and looking straight at her. The deer was very scared. And was running around in circles Chloe sat on the ground very quietly so she didn’t scare the deer away. Soon the deer came up to Chloe

Chloe, the deer, the monkey and the bird walked across the grass and could hear the animals from Chloe's work.  Chloe felt relieved when she could hear the animals from her work. Chloe and the animals walked faster because Chloe knew exactly  where they were now.

Chloe took the bird to the pet hospital she took the monkey to be with the other monkeys. The deer followed her to the field where her there were other deer. Now Chloe could go home to bed because she was very tired!

The next day Chloe went back to her work in the morning

And see if the animals were ok.then she went to see her boss. Her boss wasn't mad at her because Chloe told her boss what happened when she finished her work this time she didn’t get lost again.
